Well done Lauren and Pfeiffer – 2015 Youth Madison Champions
October 2015, the last big race of the year and Lauren Dolan and Pfeiffer Georgi win the National Madison Championships.
In a hotly contested 80 lap race Lauren and Pfeiffer were on the attack from the start, attacking on the first lap and were half a lap up before the race was neutralised because of a crash. Once restarted the girls worked superbly together, scoring a 2nd and 2 1sts in the first three sprints. Coming to the final ten laps there wasn’t enough time to gain a lap and it was all down to the last sprint. Leading on points they still needed to not get beaten by too much. A frantic sprint saw Pfeiffer take first place and secure the stripy jerseys.
